Over the past decade, we’ve teamed up with thousands of e-commerce merchants—ranging from small local shops to big international brands, to create WOW shopping experiences at convenient prices.

 

It all started back in 2021, right here in Asturias, Spain. You can still see traces of our humble beginnings: millions of WordPress sites, the legacy of early e-commerce themes, and the important work we did to empower creators while helping the web’s biggest platforms grow and thrive.

 

Today, we’ve upgraded to a slightly larger office and a much larger team, now spread across Madrid, Salinas, and London. But one thing hasn’t changed: our passion. We’re still just as committed to helping brands and businesses succeed—whether they’re first-time Shopify entrepreneurs, growing online retailers, or established brands.

 

As developers and Shopify merchants ourselves, our philosophy is simple: we work on your store as if it’s our own :)

Raul Fuente - Cofounder & Lead Developer

I’m the technical and product quality manager at Groundzero Apps. I started my first software development agency back in 2014, focusing on e-commerce. I have a degree in Computer Science from the University of Oviedo and spent many years working as a software developer. Outside of work, I love surfing on the beaches of Asturias, listening to dark rock, and hiking with my son. My inspiration? Ayn Rand. Who is John Galt?

Enrique Loyola - Cofounder & UX Designer

I love creating practical digital products that help our clients grow their businesses. I’m the co-founder of a seven-figure e-commerce fashion brand based in the UK, where I’ve learned everything about e-commerce, branding and digital marketing the hard way. When I’m not working, I enjoy cycling with my kids, skiing, and playing guitar, though I don’t get as much time for that these days!
